Download RPM Packages For Offline Installation On Multiple Machines

Linux is operating system where stability depends on updated software packages. Many of us install apps and updates daily on Redhat System. There is possibility that system may crash or get corrupted so it is best to have backup. If you want to install packages on multiple machines having same Operating system version you can save internet bandwidth and time by  downloading packages from one system and then copying those packages and installing on other similar machine having same REDHAT or FEDORA version.

Install and Run Google Chrome as Root in Cent OS 6.1/6.2/6.3

At my office I use Cent OS 6.2 x86_64 . I am not a big fan of Mozilla Firefox no offences. I personally favour using Chrome as my default web browser. Even though Firefox is open source and is readily available through default repositories of most Linux distributions , it is bit on slower side unlike Chrome which is faster but has issues of installing on most distributions .
First of all I started installing Chrome the usual way of adding repos of Google chrome but I failed as latest version of Chrome has issues with centos 6.2.
So I downloaded specific Chrome version that is compatible for this version of OS from myrpms (el6 rpm of chrome). After installing Chrome rpm( rpm -ivh google-chrome-stable....).

Auto Mount NTFS Problem with Windows 8.1 DualBoot Linux

Windows 8.1 was recently released for public.I updated my Windows 8 laptop to Windows 8.1 last week . After updating to Windows 8.1 and booting into Ubuntu, I tried mounting my windows data partition of NTFS and got this error.
Error due Windows 8.1

Error was due to Windows 8.1 feature of fast startup which allows ntfs partitions to mount only in read only mode.To resolve this issue you have to disable fast startup from Windows 8.1.
So first boot into Windows 8.1

Dualboot Ubuntu or Linux Mint with Windows 8 UEFI

With New Windows 8 UEFI System you won't be easily dualboot linux with Windows 8.Windows 8 UEFI has secureboot that prevents  other operating systems to boot. As far as my experience with GRUB and GRUB 2 they are not able to detect windows bootloader .So you may not be able to boot into Windows 8 after Installing Linux Mint 15 or Ubuntu 13.04.
Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS and Ubuntu 13.04 have support for UEFI.Linux Mint 15 which is derivative of Ubuntu 13.04 have this functionality too.
So now solve this problem follow the steps.
Pre-Requisites
Ubuntu 12.04.2/Ubuntu 13.04 Live CD ISO
or
