Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr LTS a replacement for Windows XP users

Its been two years since Ubuntu last Long term support release Ubuntu Precise Pangolin 12.04. Ubuntu has cut short their support time for Ubuntu releases between LTS. That is the reason that Long term Support releases have gained much interest,also it is favorable for those who like stability and don't like to install operating system now and then for a new release in six months.
Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr released on April 17 ,2014 which is supported for five years like Ubuntu 12.04 supported till April 2017.
It is recommended upgrade to Ubuntu users as Previous Release Ubuntu 13.10 has end of support in July 2014.

With Windows XP  on end of the line this release will help gain more new Ubuntu users.
For users having old hardware Xubuntu and Lubuntu are more suitable to use.
